Morning Smiles

This is Chase in the mornings. Such a happy guy. With a little morning greeting and a slight tickle on his cheek this is what I get. And check out that dimple, don't you just love it?

And for my record, today was Chase's 3 week check up. He weighed 9 lbs. 3 oz. and measured 22 inches.

Goodies from Grandma

My mom (so talented) made Chase a couple of blankets, another hooter-hider (for me) and treated others to fun goodies. Here is one of the blankets she made. If you click on the close up you can see the squares better. The more I wash the blanket the colored squares will fray and give it a ragged look. I LOVE it! Thank you mom.

A Ginormous Thanks

I wanted to send a GINORMOUS THANKS to my mom, dad and sister. They were here for about 10 days to help out and take care of us. I appreciate their help so much. It was so nice to have them here. And now we miss them a ton and wish they could come back. I think we only lasted until lunch the day they left before tears started flowing (and they weren't only from me and Chase;). We love and miss you a ton. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Also, Thank you to all our family that shared mom and Brianne with us.

Baptism and Blessing

Today was a special day for Hadley and Chase. Hadley was baptized and afterward we had Chase's blessing. Hadley was so sweet to share her day with her baby brother. It was a day to remember. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day a special one.

Ten Years Old

We wanted to wish our Logenn a Happy Birthday! She turned 10 on January 3rd and didn't quite have the birthday she had wished for. With all the hustle and bustle of a new baby and sick kiddo's in the house the celebration didn't happen as planned. But was hopefully made up for throughout the week. We love you Logenn and hope you have a fun year being 10 years old.

Welcome Baby Chase

Chase Morgan Wurtz joined our family on December 31, 2008. He was born at 3:57 a.m., weighed in at 8 lbs. 1 oz. and measured 20 inches long. He is a happy and healthy baby which we are grateful for. Chase is a wonderful blessing to our family and we love him so much.
