Fun Day

We went north to join our cousins for a "fun day". We met them at Jump Party, a warehouse full of all kinds of inflatables to race, jump and slide on. Everyone had sooooo much fun. Afterward we went back to their home for more play and a yummy dinner. We also met cute, little Sophia for the first time, and I'm so mad I didn't get a picture of her. She told me I was her favorite aunt along with many other stories. I even got a laugh out of her. She is such a sweet baby. We can't wait to see everyone again, hopefully sooner than later. Thanks guys, for the "fun day".

Ward Picnic and Egg Hunt

This evening was our ward picnic and egg hunt. The kiddo's had a great time.

Tonight, actually make that all day, Braeden has been almost impossible to handle. It's not like him to run me ragged. He's always so easy going. On the way home I was wondering why his behavior was so off today, like I need an excuse or something, hopefully we were just having a bad day. But then it dawned on me, he is less than 3 months away from turning 2 years old, I hope he's not starting the terrible two's early. AAAUUUGGGHHH!!! I'm POOPED already!

What's with the CRAZE?

What is it with this Webkinz Craze? The girls have been talking about these since before Christmas, but since Mrs. Santa shops early in this house I guess my ears weren't listening to every little wish. How sad, I know. Lately, the talk has been non-stop about Webkinz this and Webkinz that. So. . . at the end of this Spring Break week, I finally caved and took the girls to the mall so they could spend the $$ that has been burning a hole in their pockets. They're happy as clams, for now. I have a feeling there will be more wanting in the near future.

While We Were Sleeping

A couple of days ago it was in the 70's, sunny and very spring like. Yesterday, a cold front hit, thunderstorms and a lot of rain. Then last night, WHILE WE WERE SLEEPING, a beautiful snow dusted the ground. This is what we woke up to this morning. WOOHOO!!! I know some of you have had an overload of snow and are saying big whoop. But we've only seen it one other time in 3 years and we get a little excited around here when it happens, even if it doesn't last for very long. (I took these pictures maybe 20 minutes ago and the sun is already shining and melting the snow.)

Games and Friends

Spring Soccer has begun. Today was Logenn's first game of the season. They played real well and their hard work paid off with a win. Great job girls. Go Stingers!

Later on in the afternoon Mike and the girls met up with our old neighbors J and S and went to the local University Men's Basketball Game. Brae and I took full advantage of the quiet and ended up taking a much needed, 3 hour nap. Shortly after, Mike called and said they all wanted to go to the Men's Baseball Game. With all this time on my hands what am I going to do with myself? After delivering jackets, blankets and chairs to Mike, Braeden and I came home for some dinner, bath time and some T.V. About all that time on my hands...there are a million things I could or should be doing right now, but I'm choosing to play cars and look at the same picture book over and over again. And as for T.V. time...Napoleon Dynamite is on Comedy Central. From the words of Kip, "Peace out"!
