Cow Appreciation Day

We joined some of our friends at Chick-fil-A for some free grub. Who doesn't love free food. And, even more, we LOVE our friends.

He's a "BIG KID" now!

One day this little guy decided the toilet was an awesome thing. At first I thought it was just fun and games and went along with it. But this kid was serious. By day 5 he was accident free. He didn't need candy, stickers, or cars, a "high five" was good enough for him. By far, he has been my easiest to potty train. Honestly, I can't take credit for any of it, he did it all on his own. The greatest part about this is...I don't have to buy diapers anymore and that makes for a VERY happy momma!

Snow Day

12 Years

Little Miss Logenn turns 12.

Logenn was so excited to turn 12 and to finally be in Young Women's. She is also looking forward to girls camp this summer.

In our ward, when new Beehives turn 12, the Beehive class give a surprise heart attack on the newbies room along with leaving a card and some treats.

The Little One Turns 2

Monkey cupcakes for the Little Monkey.

All month we had been talking about Chase's Birthday. He would sing Happy Birthday to himself and then blow out air candles (so cute). When we celebrated his sister's and cousin's birthday in the same month you could see the excitement in his eyes. He was so ready for his own day, his own gifts to unwrap. It finally came, the last day of the year. He was so excited. He loves opening gifts. He takes forever because he has to tear each and every piece of paper off, and he does NOT want help. Then it was time for cupcakes and ice cream. He couldn't help but blow out the candles before we started singing. As you can see in the picture, he is so proud, clapping for himself. We love our Bug!
