The Little One Turns 2

Monkey cupcakes for the Little Monkey.

All month we had been talking about Chase's Birthday. He would sing Happy Birthday to himself and then blow out air candles (so cute). When we celebrated his sister's and cousin's birthday in the same month you could see the excitement in his eyes. He was so ready for his own day, his own gifts to unwrap. It finally came, the last day of the year. He was so excited. He loves opening gifts. He takes forever because he has to tear each and every piece of paper off, and he does NOT want help. Then it was time for cupcakes and ice cream. He couldn't help but blow out the candles before we started singing. As you can see in the picture, he is so proud, clapping for himself. We love our Bug!
