Today, I am grateful for 24 hour air-conditioning services.
This is what we experienced today. Yes, you are reading the thermostat correctly. The A/C was on, but cool air was not what was coming out of the vents. The temperature inside just kept rising. Thank goodness the temp outside was only in the low 90's with 40% humidity. We only waited 7 hours for Mr. Fix-it to come check things out. Apparently, there was a burnt wire on the outside unit. Within 30 minutes he had it up and running again. Thank you Mr. Fix-it. We are now COOL and COMFY.

Wow! Be grateful it was only 90 out! It sure does make you truly appreciate air conditioning!
I understand how uncomfortable that can be especially when you have lots of little kids who can overheat easily and get cranky. Then it is mall time. ha
